Erik Satie Audio & Video archiveThe Erik Satie Audio & Video archive is a unique and very large source of rare digitalized audio and video recordings related to the works and life of the French composer Erik Satie (1866-1925). Started in 2004, it has become 15 GB large, consisting of more than 1,400 files, and is continuously expanded through purchases of records and videos. It is a non-profitable project, supported through donations to cover self costs of purchases and server administration.
The purpose of the archive is to ease and enhance the research of Erik Satie and those who perform his works. Access to the archive is allowed strictly for academic research according to fair use. The archive can be especially useful for finding appropriate recordings or information that can serve as part of academic research projects.
